What Happened:

Saturday Aug, 13, 2010 a flood caused more than $100,000 in damages at New Beginnings, a small charity dedicated to helping women and their children transition out of poverty.
 
Damages include but are not limited to:
• Carpets & walls
• $30,000 worth of wedding gowns for a large fundraiser
• Office supplies & files& records
• Some of our furniture
• A room full of donated clothes & hygiene products
• Toys & books,
• Computers & software

We do not want to close but we need a lot of help to stay opened. Since the flood we do not know where to go and we’re a completely stand still. We packed the salvageable items on Wednesday August 25th and we are now out of the suite. Thanks for caring about the lives of these women and children to get involved. Our hearts are very heavy right now, thinking of what to do and how to proceed.

• Books& Toys (new& slightly used)
